OVERSEAS FUNDS → YOUR NAIRA

Receive money from abroad in Nigeria.Turn received crypto into Naira.

Someone abroad can send BTC or USDT to your matching CoinCola P2P wallet. You then sell that asset through an NGN buyer offer and confirm the Naira in your own receiving account before releasing crypto.

This route uses crypto. It does not provide a foreign-currency bank account or direct USD wire transfer.

BEFORE ANYONE SENDS

Agree the asset and the receiving details first.

01

You and the sender agree on the asset

BTC and USDT use different deposit routes. For USDT, match the network shown in your account with the sender’s withdrawal network; do not choose a network just because its fee is lower. Check the current minimum deposit too: the amount arriving after sending fees must meet it.

02

You check the NGN sale before transfer

Review an eligible buyer for the asset you will receive. Your amount, account holder and bank/payment route must fit the offer’s limits and terms.

03

The sender knows the full cost

If they start with dollars, buying crypto is a separate step. Include their purchase and transfer costs, your NGN sell quote and any applicable withdrawal costs.

HOW TO RECEIVE MONEY FROM ABROAD

From an overseas sender to your bank account.

For example, someone in the USA sends supported crypto and you complete the Naira sale in Nigeria. The same receiving checks apply when the sender is in another supported location.

  1. 01

    YOU IN NIGERIA

    Prepare your receiving wallet

Sign in, review your account requirements and open the deposit details for BTC or USDT in your CoinCola P2P wallet. Share the matching address and, where required, network with the sender.

  2. 02

    SENDER ABROAD

    Send the agreed asset

The sender checks your asset, network and address before confirming the transfer. If they do not already hold crypto, they first need a purchase route available for their location and account.

  3. 03

    YOU IN NIGERIA

    Confirm crypto arrival, then sell

Wait for the asset to appear in your P2P wallet. Select a matching BTC/NGN or USDT/NGN buyer after checking price, limits, payment route and complete terms.

  4. 04

    YOU IN NIGERIA

    Check the Naira, then release

Confirm the full agreed amount in the receiving destination named in the order. Do not rely on a screenshot or payment alert. If payment is missing or wrong, keep crypto unreleased and use the order’s dispute process.

CHOOSE THE ASSET YOU RECEIVE

Use the matching Naira buyer market.

You sell the crypto you received. A BTC offer cannot be used to sell USDT.

Which account receives the Naira?

A bank payment agreed in the order

Choose a buyer whose terms accept your account holder, bank/payment route and amount. The buyer makes the NGN payment; you independently confirm the bank credit before release.

Naira Balance followed by withdrawal

If you choose a Naira Balance offer instead, check the balance credit and follow the wallet’s withdrawal process. Bank withdrawal must follow the verified account-name rules and current fees. It is separate from a P2P bank payment.

Check the whole route, not one exchange rate.

Receiving money from abroad: questions answered

Receive supported BTC or USDT in your matching CoinCola P2P wallet, then sell it to an NGN buyer whose terms fit your receiving account and amount. Confirm the full Naira receipt before releasing crypto. If the sender starts with USD, buying crypto is a separate step.
This page explains receiving crypto and selling it for NGN. It does not offer a USD bank account, a direct dollar wire deposit or a direct fiat remittance service.
The CoinCola app can be used for the crypto-to-Naira route described here: check your deposit details, confirm the asset arrival, choose an eligible NGN buyer and follow the sell order. Compare the steps, account requirements and complete costs with any direct-remittance app before choosing.
Receiving an international bank transfer and receiving a local NGN payment after a crypto sale are different services. For the latter, use Moniepoint only if a current buyer explicitly accepts that receiving route and your account holder and amount. Check Moniepoint’s own rules for direct international transfers.
Do not treat a crypto sale as a direct overseas transfer into PalmPay. A local NGN payment is available only when the selected buyer accepts that receiving route for your account and amount. Review the current advertisement and PalmPay’s own receiving rules.
Total time includes the sender’s funding or purchase, the crypto transfer and confirmations, the P2P order’s payment window and receiving-bank processing. Check each stage; there is no single guaranteed arrival time for the full route.
That is a different arrangement from the receiver-led route on this page. It requires the sender’s NGN sell order to accept the intended recipient account. Do not assume third-party bank payment is allowed by every advertiser or by Naira Wallet withdrawal rules.

Start with your asset and account details.

Agree the receiving route before the sender pays. Use the matching buyer market only after the crypto has arrived.
